I wonder whether commercials really are effective. Why do I say this? Well, I watch my better half take the remote control and press the mute button whenever a commercial break occurs during a show. I also know two other people that did this sort of behavior. Which makes me wonder how many other people do this same thing and how many people really block out the advertisers.
